We are proud to inform you that 51. SU "Elisaveta Bagryana" is the first school in the country to introduce the Affinity platform as an addition to the licensed Adobe software for its students and teachers. With this access, all users with school emails from the domains @ 51school.bg and @ student.51school.bg can use Affinity Designer, Photo and Publisher – powerful alternatives to Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Additionally, Affinity is integrated with Canva for Education , which our school also has official access to. This allows easy and convenient use of both platforms with school email, offering a variety of graphic design and multimedia tools. All students and teachers can also install the software on personal devices with MacOS, Windows and iPad support. We are very happy to share with you our approved project under the Erasmus+ program - ECO-SAGA- Sustainable Actions for Generation Alpha: Empowering Tomorrow's Change Makers. The ECO-SAGA project will prepare teachers to educate and inspire the Alpha generation by combining digital technologies and sustainable eco-practices for a more relevant and engaging education. Which are the 10 most desirable schools according to the ranking of minimum scores from the Higher Education Institution for seventh graders in Sofia? The Sofia Mathematical High School "Paisiy Hilendarski" again has the highest minimum score for admission after first ranking in grade VIII, and this year it is 483 points. A year ago, it was 484,500 tons, and in 2022 - 485,750 tons. This is shown by the data of the Sofia-city Regional Administrative Office, after the first ranking. And this year in second place is the Technological School "Electronic Systems" at TU - Sofia, with 470,500 items compared to 465,500 items a year ago. Third again is the 91. German language high school with 465,500 students (459 students in 2023). There are no surprises in the top ten, as there are 164. GPIE - 456 points, 73. SU - 448,500 points, Second AEG "Thomas Jefferson" - 445 points, First AEG - 441 points, NPMG "Acad. L. Chakalov" - 438,050 items, 51. SU "Elisaveta Bagryana" - 434,500 items, and 9. On March 22 and 23, 2024, the III National School Conference "Shared Pedagogical Practices in the Teaching of Natural Sciences" was held. The conference, which was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Education and Science (MES), aimed to demonstrate good practices in science teaching, with more than 130 participants. They presented their experiences, tools and techniques to stimulate interest and the students' creativity in front of their colleagues from all over the country. Each participant will receive a compendium with all shared pedagogical practices. In recognition of their successful introduction, the Minister of Education and Science Prof. Galin Tsokov presented the plaque of the Ministry of Education and Culture to the director of 51 "Elisaveta Bagryana" SU Asen Alexandrov. The event was also attended by the head of the Regional Directorate of Education (RUO) Sofia-city, Dr. Vanya Kastreva, Dr. Anelia Andreeva, Director of the National Inspectorate of Education, Prof. Nayden Shivarov, Director of the National STEM Center, and Natalia Mihalevska, head of the office of the Minister of Education and Science. www.mon.bg/news/ The conference began with the presentation of a project by the students of the 11th grade, profile "Graphic Design" and their teachers Antonia Kostova and Ivan Mateev.
